I haven't read a lot of books before, but To Kill a Mockingbird was one of the best books I have ever read. Last year I read To Kill a Mockingbird and it made me think a lot about how hard life was for people who had different skin color. The way that African Americans were treated is not right. A man, Tom Robinson, was accused of something he didn't do because he had a different skin color.
There was a white lawyer, Atticus, who was told to defend Tom in court. Atticus was a very smart man who failed to keep Tom out of jail, but was very friendly, and did everything he could. After the jury said Tom was guilty, Atticus was ashamed. This book made me change the way I look a people. It not their looks, but the way they act, and treat others.

Writing Center
My visit to the Writing Center was an average experience. I was having trouble with my literary analysis so I decided to take a trip to the Writing Center It wasn't fun or boring, but I did improve my paper a lot more. The writing fellows were very nice and they offered many suggestions. We would discuss the different suggestions and decide which one would best fit my paper.
To me, talking to a teacher and talking to a writing fellow isn't any different. A writing fellow and a teacher are both trying to improve your paper. I usually don't care who I am talking to as long as my paper is improved a little, or a lot. I also visited the Writing Center a couple weeks ago, and I forgot my writing fellows name.
