EHS football scrimmage

On Friday, August 23, 2013, the Episcopal Knights faced the Tara Trojans, for a scrimmage. It didn’t count for our regular season, but the football team needed to face another school for practice. It was a bright, sunny, and hot day on Friday. Both teams stretched, then did seven on seven, which was basically everyone except lineman, (wide receivers, running/wing backs, quarterbacks). While seven on seven was going on, the linemen did separate drills, to get into the hitting mood. Then, the receivers did a couple of one on one drill. After seven on seven, we headed to the field to start scrimmaging.
When we began the scrimmaging, people showed up to watch, but not a full crowd.  During the scrimmage, there were officials, but we didn’t keep score during the game. Episcopal started on offense first, and got about fifteen plays. We scored, and then were on defense for about fifteen plays also. Their was constant hitting, banging of heads, and tackles. Tara gave us a good fight, and it was a good game. Tara was a higher classification then us, but that didn’t stop us from giving them a good fight back. After the scrimmage was over, both teams shook hands and told each other good game.

In The Body of Christopher Creed, the main character, Torey Adams, had a schoolmate who was recently gone missing. Nobody knows if he committed suicide, ran away, or someone killed him. The only things people do know, is that they have a note he wrote, and they blame the goons. The goons are the bad kids, who smoke, drink, and do every bad thing possible. Ali Mcdermott lives across the street from the Creed's and used to talk to Christopher a lot. She found out that his diary is behind a painting in his room. Alex, Ryan, Renee, and Ali, Torey's friend, believe that his mother either killed Christopher, or hated Christopher which made him leave.
Bo Richardson, Ali's boyfriend, has a record eight miles long because of him constantly lying to officers, or breaking into houses. The police and Christopher's mother, blame him for it, but they don't have evidence yet. Bo knows that everyone thinks he killed or hid Chris Creed, so he decided that he wanted to get Chris' diary, to know the truth about him. To get the diary, he had to break into the Creed's house which made it worse. Bo got the diary, but one of the neighbor's said that she say Bo run from the house. After a hectic night, Torey's mom cleared things up, and Bo only got minor charges. My book is a good book, and keeps me wondering what happens next.

I am new to blogger, and also this school. I am expecting blogger to help me out a lot with reading. Reading never was one of my strong points in school. I don't know why, I just haven't liked reading for a long time, but I apprehend to become a faster reader, and read for fun. I only have one main concern about this course, and that is that there is going to be a lot of homework and reading involved. I know that this will be difficult for me to read, because i'm going from reading four books a year, to two books a month. After a while, I predict that I will get use to it, and i'll slowly start to like it a little more every time I open a book.
This course will be challenging, but with hard work and dedication to reading, I will prosper and grow into liking to read. My goal at the end of the course is to reading twice as fast as i did before, but still be able to comprehend what's happening. I also hope to expand my skills on comprehension, vocabulary, and creativity. I am eager for this course but also little nervous of what will happen during the class and work. I want to become a completely different person when it comes to English and reading at the end of the course.

I wonder why Charles wanted to approach the Justin, or as known as the man without a face. Nobody in the town likes him or talked to him, and out of the blue, Charles asks Justin if he can coach him in school. Justin didn't to anything wrong, but everyone made up horrible rumors in the town about him, and no one dared to step foot on his yard. There is something he really wanted from Justin McLeod, because this doesn't happen every day. After Charles begged for him to coach, he agreed. Their friendship got a lot stronger, and they started to trust each other. That is usually what happens when you meet someone new, but this relationship was different.
It was more of a father and son relationship because Charles was fourteen, and Justin was over fifty years of age. They were more of a family, like father and son. Also, The town's biggest mystery was how Justin McLeod got a face like his-a scar as big as half his face. The answer to that question didn't stop Charles from leaving Justin ether. Justin killed a boy Charles age in a car crash because he was drunk. I then realized that could be the reason Charles asked him in the first place. All  Charles really wanted to do was know why he got that and get tutored. There relationship didn't go as he exactly planned however. Beside that, the overall point of the The Man Without A Face, is that it doesn't matter what you look like, it matters what inside. How you act, treat other people, and your character is what really defines a person.
